Albondon, Spain

Is a small village an hour away from Almeria where i often travel to since i only have to pay my ticket and stay for free, thanks to my boyfriends mum whose is building a house there which is still under construction. Albondon is a typical traditional Spanish village called (Los Pueblos Blancos) the classic white villages in Andalusia. The village is perched upon a picturesque hillside with small the villas divided by narrow alleys and streets. It always feels like a second home, since i am never stressed nor have the feeling that i have to do something special on my vacation i just take it easy. The locals are friendly especially if you can speak Spanish because non of them speaks more than two worlds English, so when visiting try to learn some Spanish. Siesta is something i would never get used to, everything is closed over noon and it then sort of looks like a ghost town but in the evening the gather around the bar to eat and drink. Enjoy tapas in Granada province because for every beer you buy you get a plate full with fish, olives or bread with steak.

Palma de Majorca

Mallorca's character is shaped, above all it's climate, but i would say spring is the best time to visit the island of mallorca, especially if like walking or driving as a way of enjoying the beautiful scenery of this island and get away from the crowded tourist spots. So during our trip we drove once around the island visiting the small villages and got to discover cool beaches which we had it all to ourselves. The tripe started in Palma the capital of Mallorca through the small village of Puegera, then the port d'Andratx, Estellence, we then stopped for a night in Port de Sóller which is directly on the shore has a few hotels was quiet nice they had dozens of boats and looks very pretty at night with the light. We then drove to Sa Calobra for a swim which is situated in a quite desolate place in the northwest coast, it has two beaches was rather quiet crowded but was definite worth the visit.

Virginia Beach,

Virginia Beach is a resort city with miles of beaches and hundreds of hotels, motels, and restaurants along its oceanfront. Every year the city hosts the East Coast Surfing Championships as well as the North American Sand Soccer Championship, a beach football tournament. It is also home to several state parks, several long protected beach areas, three military bases, a number of large corporations and two universities. It wasn't really amazing or cool, in my opinion it looked exactly like all other big tourist destinations completely over crowd and nothing spectacular to offer apart from shopping and diners which was also expensive.

Seashore State Park

For Nature Fans
This is the place to visit if you are around Virginia, very calm, relaxed place to talk a walk or go jogging. Its a huge park didn't even manage to walk 5miles around but was good after weeks of driving the whole time in our trip.
First Landing State Park is located by the Chesapeake Bay. The park, which is Virginia’s most visited state park, is located in Virginia Beach. Seashore state park offers boating, swimming, nature and history programs, hiking, biking, picnicking, a boat launch, cabins and 20 miles of trails on 2,888 acres. It also has camp site with water and electric hook-ups and nearby access to restrooms and showers.

Outer Banks, North Carolina

The Outer Banks

The Outer Banks (also known as OBX) is a 320 km long string of narrow barrier islands off the coast of North Caroline, beginning in the south eastern corner of Virginia Beach on the east coast of the US.They cover approximately half the northern North Caroline coastline, separating the Currituck Sound, Albemarle Sound and Panlico Sound form Atlantic Ocean.

I enjoyed the visit, though visiting in early spring where the weather was rather cold and windy. The Outer Banks are suppose to be a huge tourism attraction famously also known for it's long white sandy beaches and dunes. There are also few museums in the area and also some historical buildings. We took a little walk on the beach in Kitty Hawk and while the weather wasn't compelling we had an hours drive down the island to "Bodie Island Lighthouse, where they have a little museum and a gift shop. The area is highly attractive area for windsurfing kite boarding and fishing trips.

Wakulla Springs

Edward Ball Wakulla springs is one of the worlds largest fresh water springs located in the south of Tallahassee in north eastern  Florida. It consist of a spring basin which flows then southwards feeding the 15km long Wakulla river which runs though old-growth cypress trees. Its an amazing place to visit, they have a small sandy beach swimming area and a platform for diving or jumping. They also offer boat rides which i must say was very wonderful, it takes about an hour along the river where you can see so many exotic birds, turtles, snakes, sea cows and alligators. The water is crystal clear and one can see more than 5meters deep. Wakulla also offers a park for picnics, it has an old fashioned lodge from the 1930's and one can also take a nature trail in natural reserved area with its different plant spices. I would high recommend to visit Wakulla springs and take a boat ride i really found it amazingly beautiful.

New York

Shopping
A visit to Canal Street
Located in south of Manhattan close to Chinatown, Canal Street a great place to shop. It has a large variety of different shops from designer clothes, shoes, handbags, electronics to low quality china products. The area is mostly known for its cheap shopping experience where price are also bargainable. The fastest and easiest way to get around  is by subway or taxi  although you would want to consider the time due to the traffic in Manhattan. To avoid blisters and tired feet i would advice for all shopping trips to where comfortable shoes because the distance can be quiet far.

Harlem
Close to the historical Apollo Theater on the Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd is a place to find cheap leather products as well as a lot of  shops where by the prices are lower than at the Canal Street.

Century 21
If  you are looking for a more comfortable way of shopping meaning less walking then Century 21 is the place. Its a huge Mall with a large variety of designer shopping of all different products at unbelievable prices. Its probably the most known shopping mall in the world. Its located directly next to Ground Zero at Cortlandt Street.

New York

Where to stay
After hours of surfing in the internet reading hotel recommendations i ended up staying at The Pod Hotel at 230 East 51 St. Its a modern hotel with a art flavour interior for 130 dollar a night which is one of the cheapest rates in central New York. For the price you should not expect more than a cosy room in the size of a double bed already by unpacking the your luggage can turn out to be a challenge. The rooms therefore are clean and for a few hours of rest i would recommend it. The highlight of the hotel is for sure the amazing view over New York skyline on the roof top. Many bars and restaurants are located nearby, from Irish pub to Mexican and Italian food you can find pretty much everything. Many places also offer live music and comedy shows in the evenings.
